About TBC of Oklahoma City

TBC has been in existence since 1991. Pastor Drue Freeman has diligently taught us, through scripture, to focus on a balance of Worship, Study, Fellowship, and Evangelism. Learning to live and love through Scripture.

A little history and a small bit of direction.

It seems that a majority of churches in America are started thru the hard and persistent work of one or more friends or acquaintances. These men have the same desire to form a church that fits more closely to their beliefs in what a church is or should be.

Trinity Bible Church is one of those. TBC was born out of the vision of a few men. What caused it to grow and continue today, is the faithfulness of God our Father.

He and He alone has stayed by our side, guarded us, kept us together and growing.

His Love, and Grace, have helped us in our growth from a Home Bible study group, kept us going, despite being renters of buildings, and borrowers of churches.

His Mercies and His Word have given us the strength, encouragement and blessing during times of loss and deep sorrow. His Word has provided wisdom in times of testing and disagreements within the corporate body.

Most of all He has given of Himself, not just to us, but the whole world. He gave His Son to take our place, on a cross. To die, a payment, for our sin. In order that through belief in His Sons death, burial, and resurrection, we might have everlasting life with Him.

That is also what has kept us continuing to exist as a local church. We owe Him!

Finally, in our journey,we were able as a church to own some property with a building. It didn't take long to become real crowded. As you can see in the picture on the left.

 

After much research, prayer and meetings and and more meetings (was "meetings"mentioned?)and more prayer. We waited.building

 

Alas, one week before moving day. All was calm, we were waiting on the building Inspectors. Waiting.
